Clinical Library — Terms & Conditions of Purchase

Please read these terms carefully before completing your purchase.

Last updated: 6th July 2026
Version: v2

These terms apply to purchases made through the Clinical Library on The Health Nav platform ("we", "us", "The Health Nav"). By completing a purchase you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully before checkout.

1. What you are buying

The Clinical Library sells digital clinical template packs ("Packs") designed for use by qualified health professionals. Packs are delivered as downloadable Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) files.

A "Bundle" is a collection of individual Packs sold together at a combined price. References to "Packs" in these terms include Bundles unless stated otherwise.

2. Who can buy

Packs are intended for qualified health professionals who hold relevant registration or accreditation for their discipline. By purchasing, you confirm that you meet this requirement. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a purchase if we have reasonable grounds to believe the buyer is not a qualified health professional.

3. Pricing and payment

  • All prices are listed in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
  • Payment is processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your card details.
  • A purchase is confirmed only when we receive successful payment confirmation from Stripe.

4. Delivery

After successful payment you will receive:

  1. An on-screen confirmation containing a personal access link to your purchased Pack(s).
  2. A confirmation email to the address you provided at checkout, containing the same access link.

Your Pack(s) are provided as downloadable Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) files. Opening your access link generates a secure download link that is valid for a limited time (approximately 15 minutes) for security reasons. You may return to your access link at any time to generate a new download link — your access does not expire. Where you have purchased a Bundle, a separate download is provided for each Pack it contains.

You are responsible for downloading and retaining your own copy of the file(s). We recommend saving them to your own device promptly after purchase.

5. Licence

On completed payment we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to:

  • Download and retain your own copy of the purchased Pack file(s).
  • Use, modify, and adapt the content within your own clinical practice.
  • Print copies for use with your own patients or clients.

You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, sublicense, or share the original template files or your personal access link with any other person or organisation.
  • Upload the templates (or substantially similar derivatives) to any platform, marketplace, or file-sharing service.
  • Use the templates to create a competing product or service.
  • Remove or obscure any attribution or copyright notices contained in the templates.

If you work within a multi-practitioner clinic or organisation, each practitioner who uses the templates requires their own licence (i.e., their own purchase).

We reserve the right to revoke access if we reasonably believe these licence terms have been breached.

6. Clinical disclaimer

Before completing checkout you are required to acknowledge the following clinical disclaimer:

These templates are evidence-based clinical frameworks intended to support — not replace — professional judgement. They may not address every presentation or contraindication relevant to your individual patient/client. Always exercise independent clinical reasoning and adapt content to the person in front of you.

This acknowledgement is recorded with a timestamp for audit purposes. You accept full professional responsibility for how you apply, adapt, and act on the content of any Pack you purchase.

7. Intellectual property

All Packs, including their structure, content, layout, and design, are the intellectual property of The Health Nav (or its licensors where credited). Your purchase grants a licence to use the content as described in Section 5; it does not transfer ownership of the intellectual property.

8. Refunds and cancellation

Because Packs are digital content delivered immediately upon payment, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Delivery begins as soon as payment is confirmed and access links are provided.
  • You expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 once delivery has begun.

If a Pack is materially defective (e.g., the template is incomplete, inaccessible, or substantially not as described), contact us at info@thehealthnav.co.uk within 14 days of purchase. We will, at our discretion, provide a corrected version or issue a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

9. Updates to Packs

We may update Packs from time to time (e.g., to reflect updated clinical evidence or guidelines). If we release an update to a Pack you have purchased, we will notify you by email with a new access link. Updates are provided at our discretion and are not guaranteed.

Your original copy is yours to keep regardless of any updates we release.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We do not accept liability for any clinical decisions, patient outcomes, or professional consequences arising from your use of any Pack. You are solely responsible for applying clinical judgement as set out in Section 6.
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from a purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for that purchase.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

11. Data protection

We collect your email address at checkout to process your purchase, deliver your access link, and notify you of Pack updates. Payment data is processed by Stripe and is not stored on our systems.

For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will not apply retrospectively to purchases already completed. The current version will always be available on our website.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
